Hello and welcome to my photo blog. I am Leigh, a Central PA portrait photographer capturing all your special moments. Questions ? Please connect on social media or e-mail me !

Mick & Lisha | Engaged !

You know when you plan and plan and then life happens ? Well this sessions was one of those moments, but it taught me a huge lesson- sometimes when you roll with life, you find beautiful surprises. We had lots of rain on the morning of their session that was planned at The Hershey Country Club. Rain + grass = a nightmare. However, the sun came out and brought beautiful fog- for a lovely backdrop:)

M & A’s wedding colors are pink & grey, however to tip our hat for Micks love of the country, we did some cute country shots as well. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August, it will be beautiful !

Adorable couple, so in love !

Check out the beautiful foggy backdrop, make their love just pop ! These are some of my favorite images from their session.

I have dreamed of doing puddle portraits for years, and thankfully Lisha was patient with me haha I was so excited and I love the way they turned out

So adorable these two, we had many onlookers and they just rolled with it !

Matching shirts never looked this good esp. with a lovely ring like Lisha has – good job Mick !

Jen & Austin | Maternity Session

I remember the phone call like yesterday, the phone call when Jen told me “Baby Henry” was on the way- It was so exciting !! At the time I was working with her, and now I feel so grateful that I captured this beautiful moment in their journey. Jen & Austin love nature, and often spend their time on a trail near their home … so where else to shoot right ? A brisk crisp day was a great backdrop, but a chilly one. They stuck it out like troops with many outfit changes, and I am so so happy with our outcome.

Your wonderful parents, best wishes to you both ! xo – Leigh

Peter G | Headshots

You know your a grown up when you spend more time on LinkedIn than Facebook. My husband Peter, had a very bad photo. When I found it I knew we had to fix it. I love taking portraits, and especially of my love bug

( ok … sorry, no more pet names! )

Create : Here is a tip … embrace the shade, and contrasting backgrounds to get great portraits. With Peter fair skin, I knew I had to have a warm element to his images … so we strolled around our neighborhood looking for brick, and we hit a jackpot – behind someones house ( thank you !)

Never under estimate a great head-shot, it’s the first on-line impression someone gets of you !

It’s all about the details

I love junk drawers … yeh I admit it. I am the girl who is afraid to throw anything away, it’s genetic – my grandmothers curse blessing . But I lovingly call my organizational style “organized chaos”. I can tell you exactly where things are, and find the most random things when I need them, however it makes for an interesting life.

The challenge is I married a clean freak … ahh I remember not too long ago saying,” We balance each other, we are opposites and it’s such a compliment” HA ! He hates my clutter. So yesterday Peter went on a re-organizing spree, re-did our spice shelf ( yes, we have that many spices), bathroom shelves AND coat closet. It stressed me out and I couldn’t handle it.

So, whats the deal Leigh- get to the point ?! Change is necessary and life is filled with important details. When I think about diamonds, which is often a metaphor for humans we are so, so special. Each piece of who we are is delicately chosen by God to make beauty and uniqueness. Our home has peace a serenity when it’s clean and thankfully, Peter keeps it that way:)So, stop and take time this weekend to focus on the details, and to notice the little things in life. Polishing and cleaning diamonds is tedious but brings the brilliance back – so if there are areas in your life that need polished, buff it UP ! Don’t fight the “re-organization” that your life may need… it will be well worth it.
