Meet the Konkle family, dear friends and gardener’s extraordinaire. Photographing them at their house was the perfect setting.

The challenge : Dad, retired fire chief of Harrisburg, was a tuff nut to crack however … I got a smile. Apparently it’s the only documented one in a very long time- and its a beautiful moment adoring his wife.

When I think about being a strong confident woman, business owner, wife, friend and camp counselor I think about being like these women … meet my mentors. They all have spoken into my life significantly, since I was 11 and its been an amazing 12 years of tears, laughs, celebrations, hard conversations, late night chats and lots of bug spray. We all have those people, the ones that you know God put in your life for a specific reason, these are those people for me.
